Dear fans! We often get questions if people are ‘too late to contribute’. The short answer: Not at all! You can send us photos, scans, stories, memorabilia, clubflyers, scans of mailorder catalogues, tips, weblinks, etc .. until the summer! Preferably sooner, since we have a lot of material to process. So get to your emailaccount and send your stuff! Send us the biggest scan of the photo (or negative) - we need the highest possible quality as far as that is possible for old photography.

Dear fans! Some rewards have just been sent to the owners. We hope everything goes well with the postal services! If you are still waiting to receive your 15$-postcard reward, then please send us your homeaddress if you haven’t done so.

The shoes come with a goodiebag and therefore take till end May to be send out (shippingwise we want to do it all at once, hope you understand!). Additionaly, the pairs of shoes are photographed for the book! - see picture above. (Photo: Frank Wiersema) Before they will be send to their new owners from all over the world (literally: from Russia to Australia!) - in our book these vintage shoes will serve as an example of shoes that original postpunks and goths wore in the ’80s.

To all the people that supported us via Kickstarter and Paypal, please take note of the following news:

In April and May were are able to send you the first part of the rewards you have chosen in February and early March. These are the postcards, dvd, shoes, posters and the vinyl! There are some items that take longer to prepare, forgive us! That would be the goodiebag (delivery date: end May). EDIT: The digital insert will be done later in the year, December - but we hope sooner!

The Book (pre-order)
Of course the book itself is not ready to be send yet, unfortunately! In fact the actual book needs to be constructed and this takes time… BUT, good and vital news: we are in touch with publishers now to get a publisher deal! As mentioned on the Kickstarter website, mid 2014 is our personal goal to release the book, but we hope sooner! If you pre-ordered the book via Kickstarter/Paypal ( = any amount donated to us higher than $87), then we have registrated your name and you will receive further information via e-mail (in case you missed this newspost) and once more at that very time the book is in its last phase - obviously!

Great news! The future book ‘Some Wear Leather, Some Wear Lace’ is funded! On Sunday 3 March we were happy to find an amount that was even more than the actual goal of $8000, namely about $9638. We are absolutely amazed by everyone who took effort to donate. The power of Tumblr, Facebook and the generosity of friends and fans have made this possible!
